Visit to palace and park ensemble Gatchina.

The first mention of Gatchina goes to 1499 year. But now this place is connected with the name of Pavel I. Empress Catherine II presented him Gatchina in 1783. In 1765 majestic Hunter's Castle was built here by the architect A. Rinaldi, which was later reconstructed by V. Brenna. During the reconstruction works in park, building famous pavilions, farms were held there. Nowadays in the palace you can see several central halls and rooms, which have been reconstructed yet, and also to your attention a bid collection of West Europe weapons is presented here.
