Krasnoyarsk is an administrative centre of a huge region, which stretches for 4000km from north to south along the “waist” of the mighty body of Russia. The main attraction of Krasnoyarsk is the Yenisei. The river is formed by the confluence of the Big and the Small Yenisei in the Tuva Republic. The Yenisei is 3487 kilometras long.
